Hi Everyone, I'm rebuilding a 1983 XJ 900 RK which I got in pieces. I have everything to rebuild the engine except for two std size pistons.

I bought another engine with a seized piston. I managed to get it apart but can't use the bore or pistons in that one because they are different.

The XJ engine I have is a 853ccm and the other engine is a 891ccm.

Hoping that someone here can help me out. Once I finally get an engine built I'll completely break down the other engine and sell off the parts.

    So here's to hoping.

Spend the extra few dollars on a chain guide and a shifter return spring.
If it's completely apart, examine the starter clutch.

I have some, but I'm on the other side of the world and I don't have them out of the spare engine. Don't know if you're looking for something more local.

Or - (if your spending money) get 2 lots of XJ400 pistons and have your machinist fit them in. It's over 900CC's
