Difference between engines?

    I have read somewhere that the 700+ cc Virago's use the same engines between 81 and 99. It was listed on this auction.

    Is the same for the XJ's?

    How much off a difference is there in how the 650, 750 and 1100 engines mounts to the frames.

    Are these engines interchangeable?
