I have a 81 Maxim 650, wondering if any other crab will work on them besides the 650? Thanks

You can get Seca or Maxim 650 or 750 carbs (crabs?) but then while cleaning, you need to transfer the jets - air AND fuel, to the "hero" carbs.
I did this on my Seca 750 - got Maxim 650 carbs for only $13.00 that were sold as useless parts only carbs. They cleaned up nice.

Are you looking for different carbs as a hop-up solution or just a cheaper alternative?

Thank you for the info that works great cause I am just missing parts from my carbs so I can easily convert them.

I am trying to just broaden my search cause I didn't find any 650 carbs. I am missing my floats and top vacuum pieces so was just gonna get another set.

I suppose if you pay him enough, any crab would be willing to work on it. (Darn smart crab though)
