    hi all ,
i'm dismantling my spare engine , and i'm going to rebuild it , to replace the one i'm using now.
so far i've got the head , barrels, and pistons off, also clutch and plates off
i'v took the sump plate off to inspect internals, and found 3 of these tiny rollers in the sump - stuck to the plate

at first i thought they were from the clutch release bearing, but checked it and they are all there, so i placed one of the rollers onto the release bearing, and it looks pretty close to those rollers

maybe it has come from a previous failure ,before i got the bike.

my question is , are these tiny rollers used anywhere else in the engine?
ive got the engine turned the right way up now ,to see if any more fall out
    thanks
    stu

p.s. spare roller is at 3-o- clock position, in 2nd photo

Is there a needle roller bearing on any of the gearbox shafts? Probably have bigger pins though.

The are from a clutch release bearing, the old one that failed before you got the bike.
