Do we need a tachometer gear housing oil seal how-to?

    Looks like I'm gonna be doing TWO of them; my '81 has begun downright puking oil and the '83 is dribbling "mud."

    I got two sets of seals from Len; should I take pictures?

    (Be an excuse to clean off the workbench a bit first.)

    Just did mine.

    Some ideas for the picks. The postion of things at the start. The seal down in deep. (Most dont even see it.)

    I did mine at the same time I did my valve cover and half moons so I got to see the linkage inside the engine too. That would be a good pic for many even though they won't need to see it, but help them visualize whats going on inside. (worm gear and all).

    That's what imaginations are for. I'll look through all the unused shots from the valve adjustment tutorial, but I'm NOT pulling the valve cover just for a pic of the tach gear.

    I was thinking more of removal from the bike; extracting and replacing the inner seal, etc.
