Took off for work last week on the 900. Dreadful rattling noise from the front end. My bike has 130,000km on the clock, so some kind of mechanical incident wouldn't be a surprise. Noise went away at speed. When I slowed down, it came back.
Turns out the little plastic guide for the speedo cable had fallen out, slid down the cable and was fouling the nut heads on the disc. At speed, the wind blew it back up the cable and it stopped rattling.
Repairs took about 30 seconds. I wish they were all like that!!

If I'd of had 3 hands this would have been easy. Yesterday the turn signals and neutral lights just quit working. Opened up the control on the left grip and all 3 wires were not touching the contacts on the switch. They had been soldiered but now were just hanging out there in space. Got them all attached to the proper places and the system works great.
