    What are the numbers on the top of the fork of my XJ 750 Maxim for?

    Probably spring preload. I don't have a 750 though so my forks don't have that

    That is for adjusting the compression damping. 1 is soft, 4 is stiff. Solo rider would be set to 1 or 2 depending on your weight.

    K-Moe, I'm assuming that the rear should follow the same settings? I'm a small guy at 150; a 1 for the minimum?
