They're not hard to find. They're on a lot more Bikes than just the XJ-Series.

I get the Fram from AutoZone or STP from other retailers and get BOTH O-rings needed for the job ... right in the box!

For less than what you'd spend for the Big O-ring, alone, at the Dealer ... you get the Filter and 2 O-rings.

    That's a Goood Deal!

The Wal*Mart here doesn't stock them.

I ordered a bunch of them from Chacal. He stocks them.

Mills Fleet Farm carries them here.
A word to the wise: Don't use Fram spin on filters. They changed owners and changed the manufacturing process a couple years ago. Now they are junk and perhaps the worst spin on filter you can use. The bypass valve inside them was made cheaper and does not work properly. Infact it lets oil thru without filtering it at all! There are sites that explain it all, and if you cut on apart, you will see for yourself.
I see most auto parts stores have one whole section of just Fram filters and sell tons of them to unsuspecting customers. The air filters seem to be alright and I use those, but I won't buy another Fram spin-on oil filter. PD

I agree with PainterD. This change in FRAM manufacturing quaity has been well documented in many web places. There's a reason Wal-Mart carries only FRAM. I have since switched all my car oil filters to Purolators, readily available at Mills Fleet Farm here in MN for about $3 each. Better quality product.

    Thx all,
But there are no such stores where i live (Small town/city Canada). Also I'm sorry as I didn't want to start the brand debate was just trying to see if My 84 XJ 750 uses the same filter as the bikes listed in this thread (as no place in my town lists my bike in their filter books).

I did though find out it is the same, I forgot the XJCD (i just recently recieved, many thx to Dwayne Verhey) had parts diagrams so I was able to compare the different bike filter #s and they match.

    again, mny Thx
