Have you looked inside the switch housings? The contacts might need a clean, mine did

    Maxim or Seca?

did you paint the handle bars or have painted handle bars the horn and starter button ground through the handle bars and where the controls clamp to bars.

headlight does not come on until the motor spins. There is a relay which is energized by the alternator

so what lights do not come on?

have you checked for voltage at the fuses both sides at clips?

when key is turned on the tail light and and plate light should come on and meter lights come on they are powered by main fuse and it feeds the key which feeds those lights.

I sanded the bars made an extra ground straight to the battery all contacts look good it's a maxim. The power reads 12v on fuses new ignition new coils new solenoid runs and randomly loses spark and won't start. I've also taken the. Wires off the kickstand switch and connected them to each other.

That won't complete the circuit. THose wires also need to be grounded to the frame or engine in order to bypass the switch.
The best way is to remove the sidestand relay. It's a small, square relay with a blue dot near the connector. On your bike it is located on the left side just behind the rear frame cross tube. Unless that circuit is bypassed correctly there won't be any power to the ignition.

Yes, just unplug the relay. See if that solves the randomness. If it does then either the switch or the relay are suspect. I would not suggest keeping the system bypassed, because the kick stand can be accidentally left down, and that can result in embarrassment (if not injury).

If the problem persists, then we move to the next thing.

Now, are you going to fit a replacement switch (cleaned and lubricated), or flirt with an embarassing low-speed get-off?

I mean that first left turn you make when you forget to put the kickstand up. Even though the stand is meant to pop back up when it hits the ground while riding, that doesn't always work.
Get a replacement relay. It's rare for one to go bad, so used will be fine.
