Engine cover screw sizes

    XJers:

    Does anyone know the dimensions (metric size, thread, and length) of the Phillips- head screws that hold on the clutch cover, ignition cover, etc.?

    I found an M16 x 1.5 bolt to pull my stator rotor at a local industrial supplier, but they have a $5 minimum purchase.

    I figured I would see if they have some Allen-head screws for the engine covers while I'm there, but mine are at home, 40 miles away.

    Please help!

    Do a ebay search for XJ650 bolts. Some one is selling stainless steel kits, and lists all the bolt sizes and specs. Has a picture too.

    I had tried that before I posted, but was searching for "XJ650 ENGINE bolt kits" and it didn't find it. It's just "XJ650 bolt kit".

    The xj750 repair manual shows M6 1.0 for the pump cover and strainer cover
