not sure about beaver falls, but here in seattle there are a few alloy wheel repair shops. I have even seen a mobile repair guy. I think they mostly do automobile wheels but they could probably do cycle wheels too. personally I would find a suitable replacement. probably cost about the same.

Not sure if your BMW is a car or a motorcycle? If it's the two wheeled version I'm not sure I'd trust a repair shop where their main business is centered around repairing wheels for cars?

These guys do motorcycle wheel repair:

I have no experience with them, but short of replacing the wheel you could see if they can help.

I know some alloys can be straightened depending on the type of damage, but I think fixing a ding caused by a pothole might be too much to ask. I guess you could take it to a specialist & see what they say but FWIW I'd find a second hand wheel probably for cheaper than a repair anyway?

i guess the next step is to take the tire off and get it up on a stand to see just how bad it is. it doesn't look bad at all but it's not hard to feel as it spins.
i'd be afraid to buy a used one, it seems these wheels are known to bend easily and i already have one bent one

My dad had one of the alloy wheels for his 260Z straightened. It came out as good as new. I couldn't tell you the company he sent it to as it was about 30 years ago.

Ahh, those BMW chocolate wheels :? I suppose at least that means it'd straighten easily too if it's not too far gone... Here's hoping :)
