I have the haynes manual, but i cant find a firing order in it. I was wondering what it was so I can route the headers differently off the front of the motor. can anyone help?

I was going to mention the bit on page 143 about the coil sparking two cylinders at once, but I see what you're getting at.

The book does say one coil controls 1&4, the other 2&3; from that, we can infer that the firing order alternates between outer and inner cylinders. Near as I can figure, that gives us either 1-3-4-2 or 1-2-4-3.

WAG (Wild-assed guess), but it's the best I've got.

It's 1-3-4-2 with 1 being your left knee. So to even out the pulses, join 1 and 4 into one collector, 3 + 2 into the other. Add a cross-over for less noise, or a different sound, or just to complicate things. The hard part is bending 4 around over the middle pipes without it looking goofy.
