So, my oil light is out again after 2 days of working. It doesn't ground again... What a piece of junk....

Clean the connection to the bike from the battery's ground wire. Check the continuity of all related wires while wiggling them because there may be a stress break, that works intermittently, in one of them from years of wear due to vibration and movement. You can test any light/sending unit to isolate the problem by running a new test wire directly to the battery's ground as well as the positive side if stumped.

I'd say run new wires down to it and see it works...

The wire works, I unhooked the wire from where it screws on the switch, and then I ground it to frame and the light will still coms on.

So pretty much as long as I ground somewhere along the wire, the light will comes on, but when I hook it up to the switch, the light won't tun on.

Here is the couple test I did

    1) Multimeter under ohms, Red on the screw and Black on the Ground (Engine): Read 0

    2) Ohms mode, Red in the hole where the screw goes in (screw's out) and Black on the switch's thread area: Showing 1 (or Off Limit)

    3) Volt mode, Red on screw and Black on Ground: Read about 11.9V

    Don't know if that helps.

Maybe the screw is the culprit, soak it clean it and re connect, it may be corroded enough to make a flaky connection....

If not, then I'd guess the switch needs top be cleaned/replaced
