I'm not freakishly tall, only 6'1" but I'm starting to feel a bit cramped on the bike on longer rides. Any modifications other tallish riders have done to their bikes to make long trips on the highway a bit more comfortable?

I'm 6"7' and have some trouble on my 750 seca too, hasn't gone for any longer trips yet but think it will be an issue. Would also like some tips on what to do.

I don't know what bike you have but a set of highway pegs clamped on the crash bars really help. You can also get forward control kits for some models, they move the pegs/controls forward but you lose the crash bars usually.

Another alternative is to have a thicker seat made. It looks goofy, but you can't see it when riding so who cares.

Would rearset pegs make it better?

I can't say that it would be more comfortable for you or not. Do you like riding with your knees under your butt? (some people do).

Not really, but it might be a better angle for the legs.

Maybe. You'd have to make or adapt rearsets. I wonder if having the seat remade so it's flat would let you scoot back a bit further to give you enough legroom.

I'm 6'2", I've had to fold up all my life, whether for a car, bicycle, bus, etc..... Doesn't bother me to fold up for a bike, either.....

Second the seat build up. Stock seats are meant to fit everyone, which means they don't really fit anyone that well.

I'm 6'2" and I would slide forward on my Turbo Seca seat. It was fatiguing to keep myself back up on the seat where my legs felt more comfortable. I added foam and leveled out the seat and it made a huge difference.

Also note that you might need to update the handlebars with some more rise and pullback. I haven't done that yet, but after a 1000 mile round trip, my shoulders were killing me because the handlebars were too low.
