Final Drive Conversion

    I recently converted the final drive or myxs110 to one from an XS850. Is it possible and is there any benefit to converting my xj650 to use my xs1100 final drive? What would it do to the overall gearing?

    Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    I'm curious how the XS runs with the XS850 final drive. I've been thinking about it myself. Any inprovement in fuel mileage or preformance?
    Don't know anything about the gear ratios on the XJ650 vs XS1100.

    So far, I am very pleased with the modification. Performance is about the same, but it reduces cruising rpm to a very comfortable level. Makes the bike a real pleasure to ride.
