I got my yics tool leak fixed and did another balance. Everything was off. :? I use a 2 bottle rig with atf in it. I noticed that the atf surface sorta viberates in both bottles in sync when the carb set I'm on comes in. When it's out just a little the coinciding bottle stops the surface pulses and is a very obvious miss-match.
Seeing this sync finally come in correctly was just as pleasing as a nice ride. Still had the sporatic Idle so I drilled the pilot plugs and extracted them with a homemade slid hammer. Backed out each a half turn and that cured the idle. Surprising since I have a Mac 4-2 exhaust. The engine likes to be completely warmed up before I can let the enrichment completely off. That's probably the 4-2. I will check the plugs again soon to see if the mains need to be bumped up. Sure does ride nicely now. I'm getting there!
