Didnt know where to put this, just wanted to say hi. I just got a '81 maxim 650 as the title says, i honestly wanted a cb 750 but only had a car to trade. I like it though all except for the bars. I'm really have more of a cafe taste but this will do for now. I'm trying to upload a pic to see what yall think.

You made the wiser choice. CB750's are (for the most part) currently overpriced.

They are the only cb750 offer i got was on one that didnt run, the maxim on the other hand runs great, garage kept, all the rubber including the carb boots are still soft and pliable. I wish i could upload a pic i just gotta find new bars, the ones on it come up like 6 or 8 inches and almost point straight towards you, not quite but has to be less than 45 degrees out
