Need a little feedback from my trusty forum folks.

I am planning on selling my 2007 Bandit 1250S and my 2002 Gold Wing and getting a 2007 or newer FJR 1300.

My bandit is a great bike, but I think I am getting too long in the tooth for it. For a sport touring bike it is okay. The smile factor of the bike would be hard to beat. I have Hole shot juice box and exhaust on it. Secondary flies are gone, and it is just a mean bike.

The Gold Wing is great to ride and comfortable. I have owned it now for maybe three yrs and this yr put over 5K miles on it. When I went to ride my Honda VTX1800 I got a shock. The road feel and love for riding and feeling the road is gone with the Gold Wing.

Guessing that I am a sport bike guy that is starting to age. Just wondering if the Yam FJR 1300 is the bike that will fill this void.

Any comments and suggestions would be great.

Nice bikes @Timbox l haven't owned one though. Just make sure it's not one that had the gearbox issue on 2nd gear l think. Was from 2016 onwards Yamaha recalled the bikes to fix this.
