Selling my 1982 Maxim. Have not had running in over a year. Turns over will not start. It is a good bike, just do not need anymore. Approx 38000 miles (speedo broke) Would like to sell as a whole, have clear title. If I cannot sell as a whole I will part it out. Located in St. Cloud MN. Asking 400 or BO

If you part it out & the tank is good, I'll take the tank.

For 400 OBO I wish I lived closer and had a trailer :p

P.S. If you part it out. I'm interested in the luggage rack/backrest combo.

P.S.S. Depending on price/shipping/condition I might also consider the exhaust system and/or the front forks (maybe just he aluminum lower part maybe thew whole assembly - not so much a need just a want for extra parts).

I wonder what it would cost to ship the thing :)

9.5 hours 1 way is not exactly a short trip and wife might kill me if I bought the WHOLE thing... hmmm... Just need a uhaul trailer and CASH... :)

Maybe I'll have to beg... Errr convince her... If she said yes I might be able to drive there next week :)

If you part this bike out I am interested in buying the carb joints, the pipes, the tank, the battery box, the electrical mount, the master cylinder, the side panels, the carburetor, and the battery box. Let's work out a price. My bike needs A LOT! :)

FYI: I bought the whole thing and it's sitting in my driveway...

I am NOT parting it out at this time, the the things the two above want are some of the parts I wanted most out of a "parts bike". Definitely keeping luggage/backrest assembly for my self!

Good for you, I was hoping somebody would go get this one, looks like you stole it at $400. Congrats, that's a hell'uva good buy.

I WENT about 500 miles and 10.5 hours one way to get it. Yes I'm crazy, but made a spring break vacation out of it.
