I have a full rack of carbs for sale for a 1985 Maxim X. Everything seems to be in relatively good shape (shiny) and I was told, when I bought them that they came off a running X.

I paid $66.00 for them, plus shipping. I'd be willing to part with them for $50.00 plus shipping.

    Any takers?

I took someone's advice and listed the carbs on ebay, if anyone is interested.

Just do a search for 1985 Yamaha Maxim X Mikuni carbs.

    Good luck!

So the OP shouldn't get what they are worth :?:

If you want them that much, just send a pm and make an offer that can't be refused.

Sorry guys, you snooze, you loose. I'm glad that MadMaxim was kind enough to offer them here but the business of cleaning house waits for no one. I of course hope that our forum brothers and sisters get what they need at a good price but fair market value is a desirable outcome for the seller (obviously). I'm going to side with Bosozoku on this one Ridz, if you need them, make an offer. Nothing to loose and the worst thing that can happen is he says no. Your still not out anything. Of course I do understand your sentiment, it does suck but that is life sometimes. It'll come around, karma does strange things sometimes...

Those gold units are a pair of forks, probably Ohlins. They're worth their weight in gold...about 3 K per set.

The pic is from an AMA event last summer (Mid-Ohio?), and the cart is used in suport of someones' Superbike effort.

Speaking of Mid-Ohio, here's one of Michael Jordan's new team players-
