    I'm in the process of rebuilding my forks on my 1967 Yamaha YL1E and can't find any information on how much fork oil to add. I would appreciate any information anyone has. Thanks Jim

    I actually am already a member of that site but after finding xjbikes.com I had forgotten that site existed!!! Lol thanks will check it out again.

    So I posted the question on vjmog and immediately got the answer I needed!!! Thanks for the info... really appreciate the help!!!! It takes 4.4 ozs. Of Sae 30.

    I'd use fork oil or ATF is you plan on riding it much. Motor oil foams. Foaming is not a good thing.
