I had my forks removed to get powder coated but now I have to replace the oil. Can't figure out how to proceed after taking off the cap. Any suggestions.

Don't ya think that if he had the manual, that he would be here asking how to do it? No need to be a douche about it. Get off your high horse and be helpful actually. The only thing you helped with that post was your post count.

Ps. Welcome to the site OP, they're are A few members with the same bike as you whom I'm sure will stop in and offer advice.

Note of suggestion though, update your signature to have your bike in it so Anyone replying to a question that you might ask can answer you in reference to your bike.

It doesent hurt to set your location either!

Go to account settings and have a ball!

    Welcome again!

Measure the amount your supposed to put in.
Dump it in the top of the fork.

    Profit.?

Rhett does have a point. You should find/purchase a service/shop/factory manual so you can look-up how to do these procedures, if you're going to be doing this stuff yourself.

I have a manual but it dont explain in detail how to refill the forks. I know how much to put in the forks. The pics are blurry and it dont say if i need to unscrew the hex bolt on top of the forks or just fill it. Thats were im confused.

Woah, just starting with the basics. Maybe you wouldn't have gotten so mad if I phrased it as a question?

In an effort to repent for my douchieness, maybe your answer can be found here:

    http://www.xjbikes.com/Forums/viewtopic ... build.html

Not sure what type of forks your bike has, but if you sift through that a bit you might find the answer...

+1 more for my post count, 3rd gear here I come
