I have an 83 seca 750. The forks have been leaking for a while, and are no longer leaking anymore as all of the oil is gone. Just wondering what all i have to replace, just the 2 fork seals, or are there and other seals in there? I also want to go through the anti dives. I just need to know what parts to get so i dont get it all torn apart and then have to wait on parts. Thanks a bunch!!

Not knowing about anti-dives, in a regular fork overhaul you should be prepared to change the teflon coated brass slides (bushings) which takes the inside wear of the inner tubes movements.

For my 700N, they were a part of the repair kit, luckily, as the lower didn´t have its own part#

Also be prepared to change the copper washer for the bottom Allen head bolt (wouldn´t want to assemble everything just to find that leaking..)

i just cleaned my anti-dives. you want to get them all apart and clean everything. i had my actuator valves pretty stuck, after getting them off i used a roll of fine wet sand paper to get the little cylinder smooth. brake fluid for wetting. clean everything and put back together. i used the old o-rings, i read on the board that people recommend to fit new ones but i couldnt find any right now.

make sure the actuator valves slide in and out freely enough for the springs in the lower valve to push them back in, you can test this when putting the two pieces back together.

it was my first go with any kind of anti-dive units, this is what i learned, someone correct me if im wrong:)
