fork seal replacement cost?

    Just wondering what the approximated cost for a fork seal replacement might be. A buddy of mine has a right seal leak on his '96 kawi. I suggested that he replace both sides. Make sence to do this?

    Doing both sides at once will save you money in just time alone! The biggest single expense are the oil rings...and they come in pairs anyway.

    You'd have to get an expert or a manual to identify all the parts that would need replaced, but it's not unreasonable if you do it yourself. Likely less than $50...mine was, if you don't include new fork springs!
