Starting to pull the forks on an '81 Seca 750 tonight to replace seals. Any tips on removing the dust seal and the oil seal once the forks are off? It looks like the dust seal is fitted inside the fork and I want to remove them without destroying them. They seem ok, just have oil getting past the oil seal.

    Thanks

Dust seal should pop right off with gentle prying. For the oils seal remove the clip and pull the forks apart - should pop right out.

Thanks, Bill, that's encouraging. I've done a lot of mechanics but have successfully avoided dismembering forks up to now. I think I'll run by the Yamarobber shop today and see if they have the dust seals, just in case I get a bit heavy handed.
