Free XJ550 Project - Local only in Los Angles

My son bought this motorcycle for an “art project", and it’s no longer needed. It’s mostly complete, but I make no guarantees whatsoever about any part of it. We bought it for very little as a non-running project, and I want it out of the garage. The carbs have been “de-racked” and are included, as is a new generic tank, generic pipes, and some odds and ends.

Will probably make a great basis for a cafe racer, decoration, or to learn about the guts of a mid-80s Motorcycle. Or just sell the parts and metal for scrap.

We have no title for the bike, so getting it registered will require some paperwork and time, but you’ll have plenty of that getting it back on the road anyhow.

Free to the first person who shows up with a trailer and a friend. I have a bad back, so will not be able to help much getting it loaded on anything. Highly recommend renting a proper motorcycle trailer and straps from UHaul. This is a gift to you, so please make it easy for me.
