    Hello All!

The shake issue I have has been occuring for the past 2 months. Although I havnet been riding much since the new mods started, (and the huge brake bleed issue you all helped me with this week, thanks again!). I got the bike back out 2 days ago and there it was, the shake that starts at 70 and says up to 85. Unsure about higher speeds, i dont push it much over 85. I saw my front tire had a flat spot, when I got to work, so I got a new Dunlop.

I replaced the front tire last night..still shakes today, although a bit better.

When riding, I can visably watch the axle nut and the other end of the axle of vibrate. It vibrates in a 1, 2, 3 stop, 1, 2 3 stop, 1, 2, 3 stop kind of fashion. (Hope this can help you visualize) It is very consistent.

I had the front forks seals done last year as I was leaking so maybe those can be said to be "good".

I am going to check and then put the front tire to 36psi and 40 in the rear at lunch.

Local shop says dynaBead? Whats your thoughts on this as I have never used it.

    Where else should I look?

    Thank you!!

I think I need to balance as well. It has a small weight, but thats it. I will try to get to a shop this weekend.

The shake is like this. Vibration and visual shake at axle for 3 seconds, stops, the repeats for 3 seconds, stops.

So kinda like ga ga ga, stop repeat, lol. I know that a horrible explanaition.

My bike does the exact same thing (except at lower speeds). This type of vibration is usualy tire out of balance (which is my problem). Balancing it on you own will only get it close, a good shop with spin balance will usualy do a better job.(unless you are realy good at it)

    Ok,

I will get it to a shop for a spin balance this weekend. I will let you know what the results are.

    Thanks!

    Hello!!

Well I Got the wheel balanced, it took a .45 weight. Now putting it back together I couldnt get the spacer on the left side to stay against the fork. It would stay for a bit, the when hitting around the 70lb mark it would "pop" and give a gap.

I have put it together and test ran it, still having about a 1/4" gap between the spacer and the fork. It is runing smoother thanks to the balance, but I thought that spacer should be right against the fork? Can you guys help jog my memory?

    Thanks!!
