Got a new switch for my front brake lever assembly to replace the one I broke the other day. Pic is below.

Now, I may just be retarded or something, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the old one out of the handle. Any of you ever replace this thing?

There is a little hole in the bottom of the brake lever under the switch. Push up in there with a punch or small screwdriver to release the catch.

Well, that was ridiculously easy once I had an explanation.

    Thanks man.

The plastic was really brittle for some reason and just kinda crumbled when I pulled it out.

    Here they are!

Front Master Cylinder Brake Light Switches:

NOTE: removing these switches from the housing seems like a trick Chinese puzzle, until you figure it out.....there is small, round hole (about 2mm diameter) on the forward side of the housing where this switch plugs in. Using a small screwdriver or other such object, gently push in through this hole onto the plastic "tooth" that is part of the switch housing, while also pulling back on the switch. Releasing this ratchet tooth will release the switch from the housing, and out it comes!

This may seem like a silly question as well...
I purchased new Master Cylinder/ brake lever and I'm going to reconnect the stock wiring back to the bike with new crimps, is there a specific negative or positive that needs to be attached a certain way or does it not matter?

Really late to this but my bikes old owners removed the switches wires when they put new levers on and never rewired it, i can't for the life of me figure out where/what they plug into, it looks like they connect where the rear brake switch wires are but that seems way too far for what the stock part looks like.
