Hi Folks, I'm having a frustrating time with the front breaks on my '83-750-Seca. It has new pads. Breaks have been bled plenty. I had some trouble with the right side caliper, but found it was the caliper rubbing on the disc, and so adjusted the fork tube on the axle, a little to the right, that solved that. I had a 25 mile test ride that went great, everything normal.
Two weeks later, now the left side break is too tight. I can't figure out why.
    Help me out guys.

Buildup of foreign matter in the grooves holding the Caliper Seals.

With build-up behind the Seals; the Seals are "Out-of-Round" and cause the Caliper Piston to -- bind -- rather than Travel and Release under the Hydraulic Pressure from the Master Cylinder.

Scrape the Foreign Matter out of the grooves for the Caliper Seals and the Front Brakes will no longer drag.

Thanks, I remember another thread about brake pistons, that included a pic of the crud buildup under the sealing rings. I was going to answer your post after I opened up the pistons, but have been to busy to do it.
Thanks again, and I hope that will end the syndrom.
