While rebuilding my master cylinder and putting the calipers on my 82 XJ1100 I noticed the front right caliper bleeder valve is broken. I am in the process of attempting to remove the broken valve but if I can't does XJ750 calipers work on XJ1100's?

Not sure about the compatibility but, there used to be a bleeder repair kit available. I've installed many on Harley Banana Calipers(notorious for bleeders breaking). If you cant get the broken bleeder out you drill a larger hole, tap it and install the repair valve.

found it at K&G and it looks like Doorman makes them for auto parts stores as well.

Heat the bleeder. Apply candle wax. Repeat a few times. Apply vice grips, or an extractor of the nipple has sheared off.

Thanks guys, I ended up drilling out the old bleeder valve, tapping it and installing a new one. I'm glad I didn't have to buy another caliper.
