front end measurements for '82 maxim 650

    hi all, new poster here.

    i have a customer wanting me to make a tool bag for her boyfriend for Christmas for his '82 Maxim 650. the problem is, she doesn't have access to the bike, and i need the measurements of the front forks, middle of right fork to middle of left fork.

    time's running out for me to get this thing out for christmas.

    I went out and measured my bike and it's aroud 7 1/4" between the fork center lines. Should be close enough for a tool bag! Good luck, hope it turns out awesome!
