front end swap

    xj750 or xj650 r6 front end swap
    i have a 2006 yamaha r6 front end for sale its not the inverted ones but the r6s model to keep that stock look comes with bearings so its a straight install comes with brakes and triple trees no need to search for more parts

    i have the bearing so itll go straigh into your triple tree all you need is our controls and some clipns or you can just drill the top triplr like alot of people do

    damn, if it would fit a 550 without it looking like overkill it would be soooooo tempting.

    IMO a 650 seca would be the perfect bike to do it to - like this guy did:

    DAYMN that looks good.

    I suppose a 750 seca would look sharp too, but, the 650 being lighter compared to the heavier 750.

    Actually, that is Clownman's XJ650 Maxim conversion (in XJ Modifications). The 650 frame is almost identical to the 750, the tail is chopped and he used a 750 Seca tank so I'm guessing that there would be no weight difference in using a 750 Seca or Maxim vs a 650 Maxim. But the original poster says that his forks are not the inverted version R6, unlike Clownman's (he has a separate write-up on his front end swap too). If so, it might look more like the stock XJ front end (with a different front wheel). Maybe something like this? [​IMG]

    it would be like the pics above its not the inverted ones i wanted the stock look but with way better handli ng and braking.. i dropped my bike so i sold it and have this setup sitting around.. so the first 250 plus shipping takes it
