So I recently pulled my front fender, o about a month ago. And recently I had to ride back up to Omaha to go back to work " high-rise window cleaning." I ride yr around unless snow and ice are on the road. Rain does not scare me. I keep my rain suit in the saddle bags. So back to my story. On my way to Omaha hit a couple small storms rain wasn't bad. I got here and helped the guys get the stage to the roof and as we where leaving here comes the holy mother of rain. So without the fender it's like your riding with a water hose spraying you in the face, ha I have a windshield. But I was having problems with all the rain being flung all over my engine and probably not a perfectly sealed gas cap. This caused many problems for what should have been a 10 min ride turned into a 2 hr ride. Needless to say for those that may like the no front fender look, don't get caught in a rainstorm. As for me when I get back to KC you better believe my fender is going back on. Thought I would share this experience with my fellow xjers.

I had a full face one time. I used it to ride home from this place when it was 17degrees outside. Now I only have a half shell. A few more days up here a fender is going back on. Woohoo. Thank goodness no rain chances for a little while.

Dood I cant imagine being sprayed in the face like that with a half helmet! lol that would be miserable if it was cold out.
