front fork bushings

    so on my front forks i just had to break a bushing because i assebled it in the wrong order. im talking about the lower bush before all the the shims and seals are put on. it seems to be coated on the inner side with something. would the be a teflon coating of some kind? i ask because i can get a couple of new milled in stainless steel for free. and how big would this coating need to be in µm (or micrometer)
