I was wondering what the best way to clean up my front brake rotor is??

Is scotch brite the way to go??

Or could I use 1000 grit sand paper followed by 1200 then 1500 then the scotch brite?

The rotor itself doesn't look that bad there's not really any deep grooves in it. I was just think of a way to smooth out the rotor a bit.

    Thanks for the help.

Just Scotchbrite. You're not trying to polish it.
