    Hello!

I was lucky to find a set of used but nice original holders to my front turn signals/flashers. I also bought a pair of new flashers to give the bike a nice original approach.

Seems though that the flashers (aftermarker but similar to original doesn’t fit on the chromed shafts? Loose fitted even when the screw is in maximum position inwards.

Is there some kind of trick or mechanic procedure that I’ve missed with these? On the chromed shaft is a hole which I guess is to surround the flasher tension screw and a couple of parallell ridges that I cant see any function with?

Solved it temporarily by making the shafts a bit thicker with isolation-tape

Is this for the front or rear signals? There should be rubber bushings (front) or rubber "stalks" (rear) that the signal housings fit onto, not chrome stalks......

Hello Lars, yes those are the correct mounting "covers" for the front signals, but a rubber "sleeve" or bushing is fitted over the short chrome stem, and then the turn signal housing cinches snugly down onto that bushing/stem. You are missing the short rubber bushing.

The rear signals, of course, are mounted onto an (almost) solid, long (100mm), flexible rubber stem (stalk), and that stem has a threaded male fitting on the end, which goes thru the frame and is secured with a nut.

Got it! Great thanks Chacal! I guess that these rubber pieces are really hard to get, at last here in Sweden. I’ll try with a rubber hose!
