Hey all, I've got a set of pod filters for sale. These were installed by the previous owner and I decided to go back to the stock filter, so I bought one from another fella on here. I'm more in the stock airbox camp in the pod vs airbox argument, so if you're looking to convert to pods, I can probably save you some money.

It looks like these go for about$30 a piece on ebay. Since these are used and aren't perfect, hows about $30 + shipping for all 4?

joe i think that my bike would look better with four new or like new air filters like you have for sale..Can you tell me if anything would need recalibrated because of the extra airflow or will it just make the bike sound and go faster?? thanks

wesgmc, I'm not sure what all you'd have to do to make the most use of the less restricted air flow. At a minimum, you should probably re-sync the carbs.

When I replaced these with the stock airbox, I also did a ultrasonic cleaning of the carbs, reset float levels, and re-synced, so I can't say how well (or poor) your bike would run by just swapping in the new filters.

The carbs did have the stock jetting in them, but I think it's recommended to change up some of the jets for the new filters.

what new jets would you prefer if you change to pod filters. I am having some problems with my 82, xj750 now that I have changed to pod filters, is it due to the fuel consumption increase because of the new pods.

    thanks
