Fuel Tank Emblems

    Does anybody know if the XS650 emblems will fit on a Xj650 tank. I need new emblems for my tank and the only ones I can find on xj4ever for my bike are black with gold letters. Not a fan of gold. I really want black background with chrome letters. I found a set of XS650 chrome bolt on emblems that say the mounting holes are 100mm from center to center and I just went and measured my tank and I get like 102-103mm from center to center. Didn't know if that's some form of non curved measurement. Also found some silver ones for XJ1100 but it says they are 107mm center to center.

    Are the curvatures that much different? If I just double sided taped them on instead of using the mounting screws, you think they would work?

    They were pretty flat. I ended up with RX100 badges, came in chrome and almost identical in size. Redrill one hole to get to fit and they pop up for about $10 each on the bay from time to time:

    Thanks, I found some on the bay that did not say what bike they were for just Cafe racer/bobber emblems and they were 101.6mm center to center and I just measured mine with a micrometer and it looks like they will fit perfectly.

    Post up the link if you can, if they work you'll be opening up some options for others. The only direct fit option I know of is the expensive original ones.

    Don't buy them the descriptions wrong they are not 101.6mm like it says the mounting holes are only 94.5mm apart
