    hi all . i have only got fuel on the prime position and not on the reserve , my mates bike is the same , is this right ??????????/ or do we have the same fault

    I would say it's a really good chance you both need to rebuild your petcocks. There's a chance you'll be leaking gas into the oil, as well. If it's not perfect, both of those things can happen, and gas in the oil is a super pain, because you have to flush it out.

    You should get gas in the Run and Reserve positions when the engine is running since the petcock is vacuum actuated. Primary flows anytime and is used to fill the carbs after running out of gas or after having the carbs off for repair. If you are not getting gas in Run of Reserve while the engine is running, check the vacuum line, and if it is ok, then the petcock probably needs work.
