Gas cap no key on eBay.

    Is it possible to buy a used gas cap with no key on eBay and have a key made for it? I’ve seen several used ones but they never have a key. Really hate to use a cheap knockoff but I’m on a budget!

    Yes it is possible. If there is a number on the lock there seems to be a few people on eBay that will make a key for the lock. Will it work 100% I would think not, but I have done it a few times when I was not able to find a cap key combo.

    Not ideal but if you don't mind a lack of security you can leave out all the pinning wafers.
    Then it just needs a key or anything that can turn it.
    Dodgie but an option if you don't leave your bike in bad places at night, I guess.

    Or just put the wafers in that work with your key, not as insecure.
