Gas cap rebuilt

    I just rebuilt my gas cap on my Seca900 because I could almost smell gas fumes when I was around the bike, not even sitting on it.

    That was an easy task. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being extremely difficult, I'd rate it a 2. It is even easier with the tutorail I got linked to by hogfiddles.

    The base gasket was the culprit, it was totally shot, falling in pieces, like you can easily see on this picture:

    The sliding tabs don't have any springs in my gas cap, so I didn't have to worry loosing them, and it was much more easy to put all things together after. I didn't get into the lock because it was so easy to operate , I only lubricate the locking tabs.
