I recently got gas in the oil and have adjusted the petcock and believe i have fixed the problem of gas leaking in. But im wondering how am i able to get the gas drained completly out of the oil sump and filter? Is there anything i can run to get the gas out or how many times should i change the oil out before the gas would be drained out?

    TIA

You should drain the sump, replace the filter, and top off with a quality oil.

I changed my oil with the cheapest stuff I could find and ran the bike for a very short time. Then I drained this cheap oil out, replaced with the good stuff and at this time I replaced the oil filter. Any small amounts of the old oil that may be left behind I wasn't worried about. Once the engine is up to temp any bit of gas will evaporate off thru the crankcase ventilation system.
