I just recently pulled my XJ750 out of the garage and started preping it to ride. I put on new handle bars and even got a new seat to replace the beat up old one (and by new i mean used but in better condition). When i went to start her up i found that i had a huge gas leak that seems to be coming from the Carb as well as a reservoir that is located just behind it. Anyone have any suggestions on what the issue might be?

My guess would be that your needle and seat valves are not stopping fuel flow. Either that or it could be like my daughter's Seca that had broken o-rings on the fuel input between carbs 1&2. New o-rings = no more leak, but time to re-sync.

Yep. You have a stuck/sticky float.
