gas tank interchangeability

    Hey guys, was just wondering what gas tanks are directly interchangeable in the maxim/seca models. I have an 83 maxim XJ750 and want to put the smallest tank possible on that will bolt right up. Any suggestions? thanks

    The only other tank that's a direct, no mod replacement is the 650 Maxim tank. It's only 6L or ~1.5gal smaller though.
    All the others will require mods to make fit.

    I know that a 650 maxim tank is interchangeable and smaller, but IDK by how much.
