    Hello Folks
Turning a 1982 650 in to a ? (yet to be determined exactly).
I have emptied the gas tank and put it in the basement with the rest of the victim ahem I mean bike! The inside of the tank is pristine and I would like to keep it that way while it is empty if left will it rust up and if so what can i do to prevent it from occurring?
I will post a full bio and pics of the tear-down when time prevails but way to busy now.
    Any input would be appreciated!

P.s. can someone attach the link for photo resizing if they have it handy.

windows 7 and vista has the capability of shrinking. i've never done it but i know it's there. xp don't have the capability. you'll need some other source.

photobucket.com might have the solution for you though.

Get a coat of oil inside the tank. I've used fogging oil, but WD-40 should do nicely. Keep it in a dry place.

Photobucket has adds and a bit annoying at first, but it lets you post thumbnails links to the larger images. A simple copy/paste into your post.
