Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I reget to inform that I no longer own my XJ sold it for $1000..

Bought to replace it: 1983 Suzuki GS1100G $500.00.

I give my thanks for fellowship, knowledge, and restoring my enthusiasm for motorcycling.

The Yamaha will hold a spot in my fondest memories.

P.S. How do I get bailed out by congress?

    Seven Hundred Billion Dollars
If the entire sum was delivered, in cash, to one spot, in Ten-dollar Notes, it would take an individual an entire life-time to count it.

A billion is a difficult number to understand. One ad agency did a good job of putting that figure into some perspective, recently.
A billion seconds ago it was 1959.
A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.
A billion hours ago our ancestors were living in the Stone Age.
A billion days ago no-one walked upon this Earth on two feet.
A billion dollars ago was only 7 hours and 47 minutes, at the current rate of our government spending.

While that thought is still fresh in your mind, let's take a look at "The Big Easy"; New Orleans.
It's amazing what you'll reach with some simple division!

Louisiana Senator, Mary Landrieu (D), is presently asking the Congress for $250 BILLION to rebuild New Orleans.
    Big Bucks! What's it mean?

Well, if you are one of 484,674 residents of New Orleans; you each get $516,528.
Or, if you have one of the 188,251 homes in New Orleans , your home gets $1,329,787.
Or, if you are a family of four, your family gets $2,066,012.
    Hey!
    Bail ME Out!
    I'll settle for a-hundred-seventy-five ... 2-hundred thousand.
Just gimme a hundred-ninety-two-five, right now ... and you can have all my stuff.

    a) run a legalized mob racket with an entire country as your "turf"

    b) only allow your "capo's" to be put up for election as "representatives" of the people you shake down.

    c) demand protection money....or else.

    d) sneer and laugh, all the way to the banks.....the one that you own, another form of legalized theft.

    e) make sure you ignore people like HIM:

The GS series suzuki's are a good bike, bit heavier than the yamaha's but pretty much built to do the same things.
    Hope you enjoy it.
When I was looking for another bike the list went XJ,GS or god forbid a CB honda, although must admit to an interest in singles or a twin now.
