Great deal on a Seca 550 tank?

    That tank is in better shape than the one I started with. The price is crazy but the tank is fixable.

    I dunno; there's no pic of the inside.

    But it's still a lot more fixable than the other one that's been floating around for a while with the really bad bondo job on the badge brackets.

    It's only worth $50, max.

    $200 for that POS? I didn't pay that for the 3 Seca tanks I've found over the past 3 years on eBay. They were in much better shape than that. Here's what they looked like after the paint was stripped.

    Wow! I can't imagine starting with a tank that bad. The rust is horrible. If it looks like that on the outside, imagine what the inside looks like. I bet you could poke a screwdriver through many parts of it.

    I hate what eBay has become. 1000+ Seca 550 parts. Only 7 that are auctions. Sellers looking to get rich off parting out a $700 bike.
