So here is the deal....I can't seem to determine if my xj should have a braided wire for the ground. I recently rebuilt the bike from frame up...The problem being is that at the same time my bro was rebuilding a jetski...and there in the middle of both is a braided ground wire. Sitting on the floor begging to go back on one of the machines...but whose? Do xj 750 have a braided ground wire (similiar to those seen on all cars) or do you think it belongs to the ski?

No braided ground wires on my XJ750s. The ground is an insulated, black stranded 8mm(i think) cable that connects from the battery to the rear of the engine.
A braided version wouldn't hurt though I'm sure.
