Hey guys, just curious what the best solution is to get rid of the cable choke on these bikes. I really liked the rod/hand choke that my xs400 had. I am trying to clean up the handlebars as best as I can.

    Cheers!

Simply re route the cable somewhere else... Loop under tank, knob Under the carbs? Boom done

there are a few old threads on choke location.

550 mikuni carbs are easy. the hatachi carbs require a little more thinking

bicycle shifter levers and old style pull rod have been used
