Handlebar fitment

    Hi all, I have a garage find 83 xj750 it has shorter drag type bars on it and I want to return to the taller oem style for my wife and learner son. I found a set from a 78 xs400. Any reason these won’t fit?

    ..as long as the control cables and brake lines are still long enough.

    Thanks all for the help. I checked the specs for both and they are both 7/8” and lines are original length so all should be good.
